What is a custom holster? A lot of websites “say” they make custom holsters. But what are you really getting? Many times it’s just a dropdown with firearm type, left or right, some Kydex colors, and maybe some clip or wing options as an “upgrade”. But in the end your likely getting mass produced cookie cutter preform shells…
Is that really a custom holster…?
Now don’t get me wrong, it’s great to have a big box holster website with some basic options that you can get shipped right away! And a lot of those websites started out small like us making actual “custom holsters”. Nothing wrong with success! I hope to one day also have the capacity for “quick ship” ready to buy holster choices.
BUT, are they really still making CUSTOM HOLSTERS anymore?

What is a Custom Holster
I started building custom holsters because of my search for a really comfortable all day holster that came up empty! I have tried SO MANY holsters. And fallen for a few gimmicks! Also, in the past I purchased something just because it looked interesting. And I’ve genuinely tried a few holsters that were highly rated for comfort that didn’t really meet my expectations. Certainly I’ve purchased some good holsters, but in my search for a REAL all day comfort holster that also met my technical needs I had to make my own! Maybe I can make one for you too?
